Enjoy this traditional American autumn activity. Hayrides take various forms, but a common denominator is to celebrate the harvest by taking a ride around the farm in a wagon containing hay (dried grass).
We'll do our hayride at a farm about 20 minutes north of the Purdue campus. Besides riding in the hay wagon, activities include roasting marshmallows over a fire, making s'mores (a sweet treat), carving pumpkins, and taking a tour of the farm. We'll also have a short talk about the message of the Bible. This event is free.
You might want to eat something before the event, since we will only snacks there.
The farm tour will be first, so you need to come to the pick-up location (the
International Friendship House) by 5pm to get a ride and catch the tour.
If you need to come later, we will also provide transportation to the hayride leaving at 6pm from the
International Friendship House.
